ABOUT

me.

Hi, I’m Jacke! Makeup artist, creative spirit, freelance designer, thrifting addict, and mama to four littles.

My love for beauty started early—my mom’s a hairstylist, so I grew up surrounded by the magic of transformations, but I’ve also always been drawn to anything creative. Whether it’s hair/makeup, styling, or decorating, the beauty world has always felt like home. Makeup, especially, has been my outlet—a mix of art, connection, and storytelling.

I started taking my hobby seriously in 2020 during quarantine, when I could spend all my time learning everything I could about skincare, techniques, products, and play in makeup with my daughter all day. In 2021, just after my son was born, I had an unexpected and near-death brain injury, that required multiple brain surgeries - which resulted in the loss of my motor skills, having to relearn how to walk again , and even write my name. Every single day, I feel beyond grateful to still be here with my family, raising my kids, and doing what I love.

These days, when I'm not changing diapers or somewhere in a carpool lane, I specialize in bridal and special occasion makeup. I often am asked to do a “soft glam” look that has kind of become my signature, but I also love collaborating with clients to create looks that are uniquely theirs; whether bold, minimal, or anything in between. My goal is always the same: to deliver exactly what you envisioned and leave you feeling confident, beautiful, and seen.

When I’m not glamming bridal parties, I’m usually channeling my creativity elsewhere— styling events, making over a closet or pantry, redecorating my home for the hundredth time, or even hand-lettering chalkboard signs and designing custom invites.

One more thing  - I learned a long time ago that I inherited my grandparents’ love for thrifting, and it's my favorite thing to do in my free time...(if I’m not playing in lipstick and mascara - you can probably find me at a Goodwill). Don't get me wrong, I like my luxury brands and things of quality, and It’s not necessarily about being cheap — it’s about the hunt and curating things that look good and feel intentional.

Essentially....  I guess you could say, I just like to make things pretty.    ;)
